Exploring Ideas For Display.

To see how it might look inserted in the gallery wall - I cut a hole in mount board and pushed it through. After discuing how it looked with Anna we came up with the idea to create box frames as a way to then mount them on the wall. I will be making these after the Easter break.

On the right the paper-clay mold has a porcelain insert, the two others have fabric, dipped in casting slip, inside cast molds.

These are paper-clay with porcelain. They were created using a mold I made myself, from plaster. The one on the right was made first, I then made one which made a clearer reference to seeds or pods. I particularly like the way the folds turned out, painted in under-glaze, leaving the paper-clay unglazed.
