After talking with Steve about display he mentioned a book: Art an the Museum, which may help me consider how the work may be read. Went to the library but it was booked out although the nice lady let me look at it. I decided to purchase my own copy as it looked really interesting. Also found Contemporary Cultures of Display which is an OU book but interesting about how the museums up-dates their image and how art has influenced this.
These are some cases Zak has which he offered for my consideration. I'm still not sure about whether or not they should go in cases or behind glass/perpex. I have a sense some of the tactile nature would be lost. I dont really want people to actually pick them up but they will see more detail if they are in plain view.
